Types of Facial Trauma

What does the surgery involve?
The surgery involved depends on the site and severity of the fracture. The use of titanium mini-plates and screws which are placed from the inside of the mouth and hidden under the soft tissues often aids in a speedier recovery. This surgery is usually done under general anaesthetic.
What are the risks of surgery?
When you consult with Dr Hyam he will discuss the relative risks and benefits of any proposed procedures. Every procedure has risks and these risks are always balanced against your individual needs and treatment requirements.
